ANHAM Donates Medical Face Masks In Afghanistan
ANHAM’s ongoing CSR mission, to be committed to ethically contributing to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families, as well as of the local community and society has been active since 2004.
A part of this ongoing social responsibility program, and in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, ANHAM have been working in the local communities throughout Bagram district and Parwan province in Afghanistan distributing essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to several local authorities and orphanages.
In cooperation with the Bagram District Governors offices, an initial 40,000 masks were donated on June 6th 2020. Individual handovers were attended by Representatives of the municipality of Parwan Province, the Governor of Bagram district, Parwan Head of Public Health, and representatives of Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army and National Directorate of Security. Subsequently the report was broadcasted by Parwan National Television and other Parwan media.
