ANHAM Joint Venture to Support Afghanistan National Army’s Technical Equipment Maintenance Program

VIENNA, VA – ANHAM FZCO, a leading contracting firm that provides services around the world, announced that a joint venture with AECOM Technology Corporation was awarded a maintenance and capacity-building contract by the U.S. Army to support the Afghanistan National Army’s (ANA) Technical Equipment Maintenance Program (A-TEMP).
The A-TEMP contract has a performance period of one base year with four option years and consists of a value of approximately US $29.9 million in the base year, with a potential value of US $181.9 million, if all options are carried out. The program will help support the ongoing work of the U.S. Army in Afghanistan.
Throughout the duration of the contract, the joint venture will provide maintenance services to Afghanistan National Army military vehicles and equipment while helping to educate and train local nationals in vehicle maintenance operations.
Another goal of the contract will be to help enhance the skills of ANA personnel in areas of management, administration and leadership. The contract will take place at eight different equipment maintenance locations while related training will be carried out by various advisory maintenance teams all throughout Afghanistan.
