ANHAM Hosts Charity Golf Classic
Aqaba – Jordan
ANHAM hosted its 1st Annual Charity Golf Classic on the newly created AYLA course, the first grass course in Jordan.
The event was organized by Mike Hoover, ANHAM’s procurement Director and golf fanatic, assisted by Marina Qalanzeh and Marwan Belbeisi and bought together representatives from various ANHAM divisions as well as partners and suppliers alike.
In all 50 players from 18 companies took to the course for a four-ball team event. The eventual winning team consisted of:
- Andy Kittsen – ANHAM – Kuwait
- Brian Nord (Optimum Vehicle Logistics)
- Stephane Dermond (Optimum Vehicle Logistics)
- Bob Clapper (Ratheon)
The main purpose behind the event was to raise funds for the King Hussein Comprehensive Cancer Care & Research Center by way of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation. This independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit institution, supports cancer patients all ages in their journey to combat cancer in Jordan and the Middle East region.
Following tremendous support from ANHAM’s partners with their contributions being matched by Mr. Mugith Sukhtian, Co-Owner of ANHAM, the event raised a staggering $166,500.
