ANHAM FZCO Employee Profile | Ekab Saraya
I joined ANHAM FZCO in 2010 as a QA/QC Supervisor for Local Market Ready Items (LMR) and Fresh Fruits & Vegetables (FFV) for the SPV-IJK contract. While I was Supervisor, I oversaw FFV’s coming from two different vendors located inside Kuwait. I was also responsible for ensuring that the produce delivered to our valuable customers always met the highest standards in terms of quality as A++ grade.
In April 2014, I was promoted to a Senior QA/QC Supervisor, where I was primarily tasked with delivering the best quality products available. In addition, my promotion also made me responsible for vendor communications to ensure that the proper produce procurement procedures were in place so we always deliver the high quality, full quantity requested by our customers. After thorough follow ups with team members and guidance from my management, I was eventually able to limit the LMR/FFV rejection rate by 50%.
I was also tasked with the additional responsibility of being in charge of a team of 20 staff members working in a storage area of 11,000 SQM in December, 2015. My primary role was to train the personnel about ANHAM FZCO procedures taking into consideration the adherence to ISO 22000-2005 requirements, while handling Subsistence Prime Vendor product to ensure we provide the best service possible to all our customers in remote locations. I also maintained KPI’s of Inbound/Outbound and limited the warehouse damages to a 0% target. Working with ANHAM FZCO has allowed me to gain experience and working knowledge. I look forward to what my future with ANHAM FZCO will look like and am excited to see what challenges lie ahead.
