ANHAM Employee Profile | Jayson Galicia

Jayson Galicia joined ANHAM FZCO in January 2011 as a Customer Service Administrative Assistant for ANHAM Prime Vendor Iraq. While initially tasked with developing and enhancing formats and automation of customer service reports, his administrative skills led him to also play an instrumental role in transportation and operations reports.

In September 2011, Jayson was promoted to Customer Service Representative (CSR). In this role, he became a great asset during the demobilization and transition of ANHAM Operation to Iraq at SAFWAN. He is one of the five ANHAM personnel that established the processes, procedures, and the development of the site and staging yard at SAFWAN that acts as hub for all missions transitioning in and out of Iraq.

In May 2013, Jayson joined Customer Service for ANHAM Prime Vendor Afghanistan. His transition from SPVIJK to SPV-A was critical to the work of newly hired CSRs as he helped with trainings and assisting Customer Service Managers in developing procedures, processes, and key performance indicators for the customer service department.

Jayson’s hard work and effort lead to another promotion in September 2014, when he became a Customer Service Area Manager. While he accomplished numerous successes in this position, he was vital in leading the seamless transition of order processing from ANHAM Kuwait CSR’s to the Afghanistan Order Specialist Team in October 2014. He has been able to simplify the order processing, and improved and developed ways to achieve high accuracies in processing orders. Jayson has also written, created, and been part of implementing standard operation procedures, standardized key departmental reports, key performance indicators and forms of the customer service department for ISO 9001 – 2008 & IS0 9001 – 2015 certification. Since the implementation of ISO 9001-2008 & ISO 9001 – 2015, customer service satisfaction ratings increased from an average of 96% to 98% Excellent and Good ratings.

Prior to joining ANHAM FZCO, Jayson held various positions on the food service team as a dining facilities and services subcontractor, providing support to United States Armed Forces from November 2003 to January 2011 during OIF and OEF in Mosul and Tall A Far, Iraq. Jayson held positions as Baker, Administrative Assistant, Cook, Dining Facility Supervisor and Dining Facility Manager and managed and supervised over 200 staff representing seven different nationalities who fed over 10,000 patrons four meals a day. Jayson also played a key role on Dining Facility daily menu planning, company Food Safety program, staff developmental training, and planning and procurement of Class 2 supplies.
